Ingredients:
1 kg chicken cut into small pieces
3 tablespoon black
pepper corns / black pepper powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
5 cloves
1 spirg curry leaves
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 onion, sliced
4 Green Chillies slit
10 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
Oil for Roasting
Coriander leaf / Cilantro - Garnishing
Salt to taste
Method of Preparation
Coarsely grind the pepper corns and along with turmeric and
salt mix it with the chicken and refrigerate for an hour.
Now heat oil in a wok and throw in the cloves first.
After that add the
garlic , green chillies and then the onion.
Once the onions are pink in color add the tomatoes.
Once the tomatoes start getting a little roasted, add the
coriander powder.
Sauté till oil gets separated from the paste.
Now add a cup of water and the curry leaves.
Once it starts boling add the marinated chicken.
Cook covered till the chicken is tender.
Garnish with Coriander leafs.
Serve hot with parotha, Rotis , Ghee rice
