Chilli Paneer Paneer fry |
Serves : 4
Time required : 35 minutes
Ingredients
400 gms Paneer
2 tsp Salt
1 Egg
1/2 cup Corn Flour ( Depends frying and crispness)
2 table spoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
2 cups Coarsely Chopped Onions
2 tbsp Sliced Green Chilies
1 Capsicum sliced/ Diced
1 tblsp spring onions chopped
1 tblsp Cilantro / Coriander leaf
1 1/2 tbsp Soya Sauce
2 tbsp Vinegar
1/4 tsp Ajinomoto( Optional )
Oil for frying
Water
Method of Preparation
Sock the paneer in
hot salt water and squeeze the water from paneer cubes.
Blend the following together
1 tsp salt , egg , corn flour,
ginger garlic paste and water to make a
batter.
Coat paneer cubes in this
batter/Mixture.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer pieces coated with
mixture till golden in color.
Heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a wok and stir fry the onions in
it over high heat for half a minute.
Add the green chillies, salt, soya sauce, vinegar, ajinomoto, capsicum
and the fried paneer cubes. Heat for two minutes.
Mix
well, and garnish the chilli paneer with finely cut spring onions and coriander leafs / Cilantro
