Chicken Adobo Thai style - Chicken cooked in soy sauce and vinegar

Serves : 4

Approximate Time : 30 Minutes


Chicken - 1 kg(cut into cubes)

Garlic - 7 nos(finely chopped)

Ginger – 2  tablespoon finely chopped

Bay leaf  – 3

Green Chilles slit - 6

Soy sauce - 1/2 cup

 vinegar /Apple Cidar vinegar - 1/2 cup (Depends on taste level)

Black pepper corns - 2 tbsp crushed

Salt – To taste

Oil - As reqd      

Method of preparation

For preparing chicken adobo, heat oil in a pan and fry chopped ginger, garlic ,green chillies and chicken. Add pepper and required salt.

Fry chicken till it becomes brown in color.

Pour soy sauce, vinegar and mix well.

Cover it with a lid and cook for 30 minutes.

Serve the tasty chicken adobo with rice.
