Grated Paneer Roast - Grated indian cottage cheese Roast - Paneer Burji



Serves : 3

Time Required : 25 Minutes

 Ingredients 

250 gms  grated Paneer  / Indian cottage cheese

2  tbsp Oil

1/4 tsp   Fennels

4 Green Chillies

1  Tomato

1 Small Onion

4 Shallots / Small onions crushed

1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder

½ tsp Chilly powder( Optional)

1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder

2  tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

1/2 tsp Salt

Method of Preparation

Chop the onions, tomatoes and chillies finely.

Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan, add the cumin seeds, chopped onions and the ginger garlic paste, crushed shallots  fry  for five minutes or till brown.

Add the chillies and tomatoes and fry till they are mashed properly.

Add turmeric powder, chilly powder garam masala powder, salt  and saute for three minutes.

Add some hot water to masala and then saute five minutes to get a gravy consistency.

Add grated paneer and fry for 5 minutes till the paneer blends into the masala.

Saute for five minutes or till water dries up.

Garnish with chopped cilantro/ Coriander leaf.

Serve hot with naan or bread.
