Peechi Dam is a popular tourist attraction located in Peechi, Thrissur, Kerala, India. It is situated at a distance of 23 km from Thrissur city 1. The dam is the main irrigation project of this town of Kerala and is spread across an area of 3200 acres 2. To reach Peechi Dam from Thrissur, you can take a state transport or private bus that are available on a regular basis. The nearby railway station is Thrissur railway station which is located 22 km away from the spot. The nearby bus stand is Shaktan Thampuran which stands near the station and from there you can get to the dam within 45 minutes 43.
