Keema Mattar - Spicy Minced Meat with Green peas

 500 gram Chicken Keema / Minced Meat

2 tblsp oil

2   onion  chopped

4 cloves garlic, crushed

1 tsp grated  ginger

1 tsp ground turmeric

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp Pepper powder

1 cup green peas boiled

2 tsp garam masala

1 Cup Yoghurt or 100 gram

2 tbs chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste

Method of Preparation

Heat the oil and fry the onion till it turns soft and golden brown.

Add the garlic, ginger, turmeric and chilli powder cook through for a minute and then add the meat and turn saute  all the mince is mixed properly.

 Break up any remaining large clumps of meat and add  half  of the yogurt and the salt, stir continuously. cover and cook for 15 minutes on a low heat.

Add the garam masala,pepper powder ,  peas and remaining yoghurt ,  saute and continue cooking for 5-10 minutes.

 Garnish with  coriander leaves.

 Serve hot with bread or Naan
